Better late than never, the Edublogs Awards 2009 is now underway!
We’re following the same approach as last year, namely asking you to make your nominations for the different categories on your own blogs and send us the info via the form on the homepage… you can find more information on how to do that on said Awards homepage.
And have a few new categories this year to whet your appetite… my personal favourite of which is the best individual tweeter!
Here they are in full, nominations are open from now until Tuesday 8 December, voting will then be up until Wednesday 16 December and the ceremony will be rocking on Friday 18 December!

I nominated various people for various different categories, but they don’t seem to be there. I did write about it on my blog and fill in the form, so I wonder what happened? How did you shortlist from all the nominations?

All nominations were taken into consideration. Unfortunately some categories had large numbers of nominations (for example some were well over 100). It wasn’t possible to short list all nominations because it makes it unmanageable for everyone.
This meant nominations in most categories went through a short-listing process and each nomination was examined closely by the judges.
