3. Congrats to all the winners, and to all the nominees too… it’s pretty cool just getting nominated for these awards…

   Just a suggestion for Sue of whoever can make this happen… Could we have a single OPML file that contains all the award winners ( and maybe another one for all the nominees as well?) so that it would be possible to import the entire collection(s) into our feedreaders without having to manually add each one?

   I have used this method in the past to help teachers import all the blog feeds from their students into their RSS Reader, so they get a complete collection of feeds in one hit. It’s a real time saver. Just publish the OPML and when people import it, it in turns grabs all the individual feeds.

   It would be ideal for helping people subscribe easily and quickly to the winners/nominees.

   • Hi Chris, it is a good idea however the issue is the time it would take to create. We still have hours of work left to finish off what we need to do for finalising the information for the Edublog Awards.

     Perhaps a member of the community could help with this? Or perhaps you or some one could contact Martin to see if the data he used to create the Custom Google Search of Edublog Awards shortlisted nominations could be imported to create an OPML file?

4. What happened to the best individual tweeter category? It has disappeared from the page. The #ece #preschool community is waiting to find out if Teach Preschool won

       We’re sorry for the delays but Ronnie who wrote the post was sick and immediately after the ceremony had to jump on a plane.

       This combined with workload, extreme tiredness, being unwell myself and the fact this post uses tables to announce the winners which is considerably harder to edit than a normal post has lead to the delay.

       I’ve now added the Individual Tweeter categoy into the post.

6. I am not sure what happened when I began to speak on the Eluminate session for the awards but my computer froze up. It was apparently just too excited about what it had accomplished! What I had been trying to say when it froze up, I think, was that on a day here in California when so much news seems so bad, so sad, this gathering of people was a great boon to the spirit! So much good doing on even amidst the challenges. I am very grateful for the recognition of all the work that people on the EC Ning have done. Thanks to Sue, Steve, and Ron—as well as everyone on the EC Ning.

    My wiki Greetings from the world won the award, and I’m on cloud nine right now, but I’m so very sad because I missed the ceremony – because I thought it was today! I’ll never forgive myself:-(

    But I’d like to extend my thanks to all the members of this wiki – to 19 wonderful teachers and 420 students from 12 countries. We live on five continents, but it’s this true spirit of collaboration that keeps us together in our virtual world.
